English renderings
yoke; harness

Meaning

At XXVII.3 the Mother has yoked the swift chariot of bull-killing lions. The participle presents her as the agent who harnesses the team. In the apparatus of LV.13 a simple form of this verb is reported against adopted ἐνζεύγνυμι; that alternative concerns the binding of mortals, not a second printed lion-chariot scene.
