Meaning

The Mother gives mortals παντοίων ἀγαθῶν, good things of every sort (XXVII.10). The adjective emphasizes variety rather than just the amount of a single benefit. In the apparatus to X.20, παντοῖα is also reported where the verse adopts πότνια, “lady”; that is a separate textual alternative.
