Meaning

At LXXXVI.15 the desired discovery is λύσις, release from approaching pain. The middle subjunctive belongs to the people for whom warning dreams may enable relief, not to a god finding a lost object. Elsewhere the apparatus of VI reports εὕρηκε παιάν against the adopted name Erikepaios; that difficult divided reading is not a second verse occurrence of this verb.
