Meaning

Nature whirls a swift current in an ever-flowing eddy (X.22), acting on what moves. Protogonos is himself whirled throughout the cosmos on beating wings (VI.7). The latter aorist passive form belongs to the related δινέω inflection and should not erase the difference between causing motion and undergoing it.
