Meaning

Earth is fulfilment-bringing at XXVI.2, in a hymn of growth and sustenance. At LIV.9 the neuter plural τελεσφόρα agrees with ὄργια, the Lenaian rites that Silenos leads. Agricultural completion and ritual accomplishment are related possibilities of the compound, but the adjective is not itself a noun naming an initiation rank.
