Phrygia

Meaning

Mise performs rites with the Mother in Phrygia, Hippa may occupy Ida there, the Mother is its saviour, and Sabazios its ruler. These are four hymn-local relations, not one assertion that all the hymns originated in Phrygia. In Hippa's invocation the alternative-location construction is particularly important.
