English renderings
Asklepios; Asclepius

Meaning

Asklepios is invoked as a great, gently giving king in Prayer.37 and as healer of all, lord Paian, at LXVII.1. Paian contributes a healing title to the named god, but not every occurrence of Paian elsewhere must therefore mean Asklepios. His own hymn makes healing the central local relation.
