Noah and his ark form part of the reported patriarchal genealogy of the art's benefits. The main treatise says that some godly philosophers held the secret to have been revealed to Adam and that Noah, Moses, Solomon, and others were said to obtain long life and wealth through it. The ark illustrates a great work attributed to such resources. The modal and reporting language matters: the passage is not independent biblical evidence that Noah possessed an alchemical stone, and it does not interpret the ark as a laboratory vessel here.
