gentle-minded

Meaning

Semele is asked to remain gentle-minded toward initiates (XLIV.11). At LXIX.13 the same adjective qualifies the view of life to be changed, not directly the plural goddesses receiving the command. The printed Ionic πρηΰνοον and reported πραΰνοον preserve the same compound and gentle disposition.
