- dark-complexioned
Meaning
Dawn dispels night’s dark-coloured course at LXXVIII.4. The common-gender compound can agree with feminine πορείην, unlike the neighbouring ζοφόεντα whose agreement is problematic. The apparatus’s accent difference does not create a different dark-colour word, and its unadopted full-line query should remain distinct from the printed text.
