Meaning
Persephone is addressed as κεδνή while called Plouton’s honoured wife and a giver of life at XXIX.3. The adjective praises her as a valued or faithful consort. It should not be used to infer an unspoken account of consent, fidelity, or marital events beyond the hymn’s actual address.
