English renderings
prosperous; richly blessed

Meaning

The adjective follows the object receiving good fortune. Possessions are prosperous under Rhea and Tyche; seasons are favourable in prayers to Nature, Earth, and Athena; a whole life is blessed when its good conclusion or flourishing old age is requested. It therefore reaches beyond material wealth without making wealth irrelevant. At XIII.10 the adopted genitive qualifies life, whereas the apparatus reports an accusative that would attach prosperity to its end.
