Meaning

Flowers bloom at the Kouretes' coming and furnish the Horai’s dew-filled robes; Apollo’s seasonal harmony includes spring’s timely flower. Bacchos himself is a sacred flower and remedy at L.6. That last predication turns vegetation into an image of divine relief, unlike the more directly botanical settings.
