Meaning
Craft Masonry is the familiar fraternity addressed by Clymer as the starting point for deeper work. The Blue Lodge is the setting of its three principal degrees.
Use in the book
The book values Craft membership while arguing that many members possess ritual forms without their full spiritual meaning. Mystic Masonry is offered as an inner continuation for qualified seekers. The author’s rules say the higher body should harmonize with and support the Craft. This claim of relation belongs to Clymer’s program and should not be mistaken for an endorsement by every Masonic jurisdiction.

Reading the argument
The distinction explains the intended reader: an existing Mason who is invited to see familiar ceremonies as signs of further possibilities. It also explains why criticism of superficial practice and loyalty to the Craft appear side by side.
