Via veritatis is the Latin title named on the 1619 title page for an appended book, followed by the German reference to the one truth. The title means a way of truth and presents the companion as guidance, but its placement under a promise of concordance does not prove agreement with every claim in the main treatise. Its own narrator addresses a friend and brother and repeatedly criticises misleading alchemical books and regimens. This title entry identifies the companion for retrieval; it does not assign the anonymous main treatise and the Way a common author or treat the publisher’s grouping as doctrinal harmonisation.
