Saturn's heaven and sphere appear in Part II: matter and the work · unit 16 as a named purifying passage alongside antimony. The immediate concern is obtaining a body free of impurity and adulteration, still possessing a living spirit and unweakened sulphur. The wording does not define the sphere as a modern chemical substance or fully explain how its metaphorical location is traversed. The English retains 'heaven and sphere of Saturn' rather than replacing it with a conjectured ingredient. The later local assignment of Saturn's sign to antimony is relevant by cross-reference, but it does not license declaring every Saturn occurrence in the collection identical with antimony.
