Medicinal correction is the claimed checking of active corruption as it tends toward death. It expressly qualifies the account of impure parental seed worsening from generation to generation: the inherited condition is not presented as wholly beyond intervention.
The same paragraph connects parental seed, contaminated food, moral deterioration and the prowling Satan image. Those links belong to the author’s theological and physiological account, not a modern genetic diagnosis. Correction here means arresting a harmful course, not revising a written text, and the assertion does not establish which medicine could safely or effectively perform it.
