Meaning

The plural τέκνα expresses a named relation of descent. The Saviours are Zeus's children (Prayer.21), the Stars and Moirai are Night's (VII.3; LIX.1), and the Titans belong to Earth and Heaven (XXXVII.1). These differing parents must remain attached to their own passages; a shared noun for children does not supply a single genealogy for all four groups.
