Olympos

Meaning

Olympos is the snowy seat of immortals, a possible place of Aphrodite’s presence, the place across which Dionysos cries out, and Adonis’s destination in alternation with Tartaros. In appended Ares it is an abode defended by the god as its bulwark. The name can therefore locate residence, movement, or protection without every occurrence narrating the same journey.
