Meaning
Ouranos is addressed as Κρονότεκνος at IV.8. In this local context the compound means that he begets Kronos, not that he is Kronos’ child. The direction of the relation should be kept distinct from Κρόνιος, which characterizes Zeus through his descent from Kronos.
