- race, generation
Meaning
The Titans are the source of every generation throughout the cosmos (XXXVII.6), giving the noun a broad reach. With a human qualifier it means the race nourished by Pan (XI.20) and enriched by Plouton’s yearly fruits (XVIII.5). Context fixes whether generation is comprehensive or specifically human.
