English renderings
love-maddening, love-frenzied

Meaning

In LV.14 the genitive plural can attach formally either to the beasts or to the charms beneath which they are yoked. The edition makes the beasts maddened with love; a love-maddening sense qualifying the charms is also well supported. Preserve this choice of attachment rather than treating the English as decisive Greek grammar.
