Meaning
Meilinoe displays the impress of her shape in strange appearances (LXXI.7). The adopted ἐκπροφανοῦσα is an active participle with an expressed object. The apparatus reports different endings, including ἐκπροφανοῦς, so the printed construction should be distinguished from those reported forms.
