Meaning

Dike is righteous in punishing the unjust (LXII.4), and Nomos is a just seal (LXIV.2). Substantivized plurals instead mean just people, the companions of Nemesis, Dike and Dikaiosyne (LXI.3; LXII.9; LXIII.2). The superlative praises Dikaiosyne’s relation to mortals and, in the appended hymn, the men led by Ares (LXIII.1; LXXXVIII.5).
