Meaning
The Apocalypsis is the first of two great wonder-books Khunrath says he has in hand. The body itself explains the title as revelation of hidden catholic Magnesia.
Use in the book
Pages 57–582 name it beside the book of analogical harmony. Their pairing distinguishes disclosure concerning the matter from extended comparison of that matter with Christ. Khunrath says both are grounded in the great world-book of Nature and holy Scripture, and prays that he may finish them.
The title does not mean that the current treatise has already made its full disclosure. Pages 55 and 802 openly reserve further identifying information, while the present work offers distinctions and criteria for recognition. The projected revelation marks a possible enlargement of that teaching, not a permission for the modern reader to invent the missing book's contents.
