1499.Τοὺς γνησίους τῶν φίλων means the genuine ones among one’s friends. The title makes misfortune the occasion for recognizing them, but the missing text supplies no surviving examples here.

1500.Παραγγέλματα are instructions or precepts; φιλικά places them in the sphere of friendship. Only this general description survives here, not the individual instructions.

1501.Ὁποῖόν τινα asks what sort of person one should be in relation to enemies. The heading concerns one’s disposition toward them; the missing text does not allow its particular advice to be recovered.

1502.Ὠφεληθῆναι is to receive benefit. The title asks how such benefit is possible, but its missing excerpts cannot establish which ways of benefiting were intended.
