Stobaeus, Volume II: Book II Chapter 9

p. 667

Eusebius continued

II.9.6.6

“Souls of human beings, whose nature is to be mortal as well as immortal, who encounter death in what is called life on earth and receive life again in what seems death there:935 when the time appointed for you has run its course and you are again released from the body that received you in death there, the lives due to you, corresponding to your earthly life, will receive you again.936

Eusebius continued

II.9.6.7

And that is why I counsel you—I, Reason, prophet and counselor of the great god Hermes and of the other gods.937 For those who disobey I foretell mortal evils, while for those who obey there will be good things like those of the gods.938
