The catalogue ends by extending possession into the author’s present. He says there is no doubt that some could still be found who, by God’s blessing, possess the art and enjoy its benefits daily while remaining quietly secret. This is a claim of continuing availability, not a list of identifiable contemporaries.
The English retains the modal ‘could be found’ alongside the author’s confidence. The passage supplies no names, addresses or independent verification for these present-day adepts. Nor does ‘today’ refer to the modern reader’s date. It belongs to the temporal standpoint of the historical main treatise and should remain separate from the later responses’ claims to a fraternity.
