Bodily health is one of the temporal benefits attributed to the perfected stone in Part III: benefits and their rank · unit 2. The phrase appears within praise assigned to the philosophers and then supported by a saying attributed to Morienus: possession of the stone is represented as possession of everything needed. 'Bodily' keeps the claim distinct from eternal salvation, while its placement beside temporal happiness and fortune shows the breadth of the promised earthly benefit. The passage reports the treatise's valuation of the stone; it is not clinical evidence that an identifiable substance cures disease or removes ordinary human mortality.
