The first errata leaf contains eighteen directions. The page and line numbers below are the printer’s target references, not pages of this lexicon or of the supplied bilingual PDF. A replacement is distinguished from its faulty predecessor; where the predecessor is unprinted, it remains unknown. The [s] supplement follows the same openly marked convention discussed under Supplied letters.
1. Printed page 3, line 15: replace r with c in cette. The instruction names the intended word but does not supply a complete erroneous predecessor; none is invented here.
2. Page 9, line 17: replace & source with est source. “And source” becomes “is the source”, a change from coordination to explicit predication.
3. Page 10, line 21: change seuls to seul by removing [s]. The singular is consequential, but the bracketed letter-name is supplied by the modern edition from the explicit final reading, not legible original type.
4. On the next line of page 10, change dite animale to dit animal by removing the two final e’s. This repairs grammatical agreement in the world-as-animal account; it does not introduce a new doctrine of soul.
5. Page 11, line 4: after plantes, replace the comma with a colon. This is a change of articulation, not a replacement of the word for plants.
6. Page 19, line 13: make r clear in the isolated spelling iner, where it resembles t. The supplied note retains iner as printed. This small-letter instruction does not license changing interne, “inward”, in the Virgilian passage to inert.
7. Page 22, line 17: replace que with Qu'une. The revised opening is retained in the reading text; the two forms are an instructed correction, not interchangeable meanings.
8. Page 22, line 20: delete est and read cet esprit donc (par les philosophes appellé Mercure). Mercury remains a parenthetical philosophical name for “this spirit”; the redundant copula is removed.
9. Page 26, line 20: replace menees with meuës. The correction changes “led” to “moved” and preserves the source’s spelling.
10. Page 3, line 14: replace supreme with sperme, “seed”. The errata print page 3; the supplied note suggests the occurrence on page 30. The discrepancy is reported, not silently repaired in the historical instruction.
11. Page 40, first line: replace Phisique with Chimique. This would make a consequential natural/physical versus chymical distinction, but the supplied edition could not match the stated location, which begins Les semences. No substitute occurrence elsewhere is silently changed.
12. Page 50, line 14: replace royees with rosées, “dews”. The fault is not a separate substance-name. The modern explanatory note spells the faulty form royées, whereas the supplied errata transcription has royees; the historical lookup here follows the errata unit.
13. Page 56, line 7: replace Mercuce with Mercure. The correction repairs the name Mercury rather than identifying two entities.
14. Page 91, line 4: read respondray, “I shall answer”, not respouderay. The supplied annotation explains the u/n confusion and the expansion of the printer’s nasal abbreviation.
15. Page 93, line 14: read tout ainsi que fit le corps de la Terre dans le premier limbe des eaux. The corrected comparison concerns the earth’s body in the first limbus of waters. The instruction does not state the full previous wording.
16. Page 99, last line: read appris les vertus, “learnt the powers” or “virtues”. No erroneous earlier phrase is supplied by the list.
17. Page 108, last line: read ne laissent à se cuire, “do not cease to cook”. The idiomatic negation supports the argument for continuing internal heat during winter; it must not be reversed into a refusal or inability to cook.
18. Page 112, line 10: read le pur de l'impur, “the pure from the impure”. The corrective phrase reinforces the distinction central to separation, without supplying the old wording.

- Original Errata for the Treatises on Salt · Unit 1Eighteen printed instructions correct letters, agreement, punctuation and substantial readings, including seed, chymical, dews, Mercury and the winter-cooking negation. The page-3 seed correction has a doubtful target, the page-40 instruction remains unmatched, and the isolated iner and supplied [s] retain their editorial qualifications.
