Meaning
The most ruddy diadem adorns the completed Catholic Stone in the description of the physical Denarius. Khunrath explicitly calls it the signature of highest perfection.
Use in the book
At p. 55 the crowned Stone concludes the passage from the one natural subject through lawful resolution, purification and composition. The diadem therefore marks the achieved dignity and condition of the work, not the identity of every red preparation.
Its force must be read beside the later warning that colours alone are deceptive signs. Many other materials display wonderful colours without proving that the Artist has found the natural road. The author can name a red signature of the perfected Stone while denying that any observed redness authenticates a candidate.
The image consequently combines recognition and valuation. A crown belongs to the perfected result in this description; it does not replace the preceding material and procedural qualifications.

Translation in this edition
“Diadem” preserves the crown-image, and “most ruddy” the Latin superlative. The wording describes the perfected Stone without giving a numerical colour test.
