third

Meaning

Poseidon and Plouton each receive a third portion in their separate invocations (XVII.7; XVIII.6). In the appended Ares hymn the third circuit is a different celestial referent (LXXXVIII.8). The ordinal is shared, but the division of cosmic regions and the ordering of a circuit should not be conflated.
