Meaning
Apollo distinguishes life-supporting kinds at XXXIV.19 while mixing the whole vault. The adjective agrees with φῦλα, the kinds or groups being distinguished. It does not name a separate human nourisher, nor modify the reasoning of those who hear the hymn.
