English renderings
boundless; immense

Meaning

Apollo sees boundless aither at XXXIV.11, and Herakles is immense or boundless among enduring strength epithets at XII.13. The adjective is not the similarly shaped word for being inexperienced. Indeed Herakles is also πολύπειρος, much-experienced, in the same line, making that distinction especially useful.
