Prayer through faith, expressed as praying, knocking, and seeking, is the proposed Christian foundation of magical and cabalistic science. The verbs replace ceremonies and conjurations assigned to the first generation. Their local role is an authorized approach within the source’s theology, not evidence that any requested supernatural result is empirically guaranteed or that all divinatory practices are thereby permitted.
