Thurbi

Meaning

Form.

This is the printed historical preparation-name retained in Mercury’s list of states he has already undergone. Its place among sublimed, precipitated, amalgam and Masca forms supports his complaint that he has complied extensively without receiving mercy. The apparatus relates the vocabulary to turbit preparation but does not guarantee one modern composition for every occurrence. The form is preserved rather than silently standardised.
