- nymph Venus
Meaning
Phrase.
Two herdsmen identify the lush grove as the garden of their nymph Venus. The place contains mines, animals, plants, artificial watercourses and a special water drawn from lunar rays. Its abundance gathers the three kingdoms into an allegorical scene. The source does not explicitly decode every feature, so a lexical guide should not assign Venus, bulls or rams a single chemical identity without evidence.
