Lemma.
Naming becomes a demand for accountability when Gamelin tells Blaise to name the heroes supposedly awaiting sacrifice; the tone makes the merchant prudent. In the confession he similarly insists that Élodie name her former lover, but she refuses. The shared verb makes information-gathering a form of pressure in different relationships. His eventual political label does not satisfy the missing proper name, however confidently he promises recognition.
