Historical definition
Xeninephidei are spirits that delight in revealing the secret or occult properties of nature to people, having been granted that power.
Meaning
The entry assigns the beings both a disposition and an authorized power. They delight in disclosure, and the capacity to disclose is said to have been granted to them. Secret and occult characterize the natural properties revealed.
Use in the book
The definition concerns a claimed source of knowledge. It does not identify the beings simply through an elemental dwelling, as Sagani and Terrelati do. The difference helps readers distinguish a role in revelation from a location within a cosmological scheme.
