Historical definition
Kamir is ferment.
Meaning
Kamir is a lexical cross-reference, not a new explanation of an operation. Fermentum gives the fuller account: a fixed matter brings another matter into conformity with its own nature and fixity. That account supplies the relevant function when Kamir appears in a technical passage.
Use in the book
Iumnizum also leads to leaven or ferment. The dictionary’s several names make recognition important; their number does not prove that several different ingredients are required.
