Historical definition

Cohopb, or Cohop, is the same as cohobation.

Meaning

The entry is a cross-reference rather than a second account of the process. Its two spellings lead to Cohobatio, where a liquid is repeatedly drawn from a body and returned to it. The unusual final b in Cohopb belongs to the printed headword; it should remain searchable alongside the shorter Cohop.

Use in the book

Read the detailed entry before interpreting either form in a passage. The dictionary supplies no separate substance, vessel or product under this heading, so the variant spelling does not justify creating an additional operation.
