Historical definition

Anachmus is an incorporeal spirit.

Meaning

The adjective supplies the entire distinction in this brief entry. It is especially useful beside Aerdadi, which are described as corporeal spirits. Together, the entries prevent us from assuming that the dictionary always gives “spirit” one consistent relation to embodiment. Anachmus itself supplies no habitat, appearance or individual name. Those features should not be borrowed from another spirit entry merely to make the description longer.
