- Hermetic judgement, by the same, addressed to me.
Meaning
The brief heading marks a new item: a Hermetic judgement by the same, addressed to me in May 1631. Censura here introduces an assessment or pronouncement, not necessarily an act of institutional suppression. “By the same” links the item to the preceding attributed voice, while “to me” introduces a recipient position that should not simply be merged with the preceding first person. The heading is therefore essential evidence for the collection’s layered transmission, although it does not by itself identify sender and recipient beyond the printed framing.
