Latin

Humidum illud radicale est balsamum catholicum, Elixir Naturæ pretiosissimum, Mercurius vitæ à Naturâ perfectè sublimatus, cuius dosim cuilibet supellectilis suæ indiuiduo ad iustam lancem trutinatam diues propinauit Natura. Qui tantum thesaurum in corde ac fœtuum Naturæ recessu abstrusum eruere, elementorumque inuolucris obumbratum aptè explicare meruerit, summum vitæ humanæ subsidium ac pretiosissimam panacæam se adeptum esse glorietur.

English

This radical moisture is the universal balsam, Nature’s most precious Elixir, the Mercury of life perfectly sublimed by Nature. Bountiful Nature has given every individual in her store a dose of it, weighed upon a just balance. Whoever has deserved to draw forth this great treasure, hidden in the heart and recesses of Nature’s offspring, and skilfully unfold it from the elemental wrappings that obscure it, may glory in having obtained the greatest support of human life and the most precious panacea.
