Latin

Ubi verò ad iustam lancem & aequalitatem formae & materiae vires concurrerunt, quâ ratione caelum aethereum & caelestia corpora informata sunt, tunc lucis actio, cuiusvis in agendo potentissima, eò progressa est, ut materiam suam mirum in modum illuminando & attenuando ab omni labe originali, necnon à virulentâ corruptionis tabe redemerit; eaque verè perfecta informatio habenda est.

English

Where, however, the powers of form and matter met in a just balance and equality, as in the formation of the ethereal heaven and celestial bodies, the action of light, mightiest of all in acting, advanced so far that by wonderfully illuminating and refining its matter it redeemed it from every original stain and the virulent wasting of corruption. This must be regarded as truly perfect formation.
