θυμίαμα μάνναν
ἀμβροσίη, χθονίη, θηροκτόνος, ὀλβιόμοιρε,
ἣ κατέχεις ὀρέων δρυμούς, ἐλαφηβόλε, σεμνή,
πότνια, παμβασίλεια, καλὸν θάλος αἰὲν ἐοῦσα,
δρυμονίη, σκυλακῖτι, Κυδωνιάς, αἰολόμορφε·
ἐλθέ, θεὰ σώτειρα, φίλη, μύστῃσιν ἅπασιν
εὐάντητος, ἄγουσα καλοὺς καρποὺς ἀπὸ γαίης
εἰρήνην τ’ ἐρατὴν καλλιπλόκαμόν θ’ ὑγίειαν·

you who hold the mountain thickets, shooter of deer, august,
lady, queen of all, fair shoot, you who are for ever,
of the woodland, keeper of whelps, Kydonian, of shifting form;
come, saving goddess, dear, to all the initiates,
kindly met, bringing fair fruits from the earth
and lovely peace and fair-tressed health;
and may you send to the peaks of the mountains sicknesses and pains.
