310. The complete shared correction notice is checked against the surviving 1650 leaf in the Bibliotheca Philosophica Hermetica copy of The Man-Mouse, reader image 4. The Greek correction changes initial lambda to tau: ΛΑΥΤΑ becomes ΤΑΥΤΑ, “these things”. The former is a misprint, rather than a separately meaningful Greek word. The fresh translation of the page-70 line follows this printed correction. The entries for pages 106 and 126 concern the appended Coelum Terrae.
311. The first word in the page-126 instruction is dotrine, without c. The correction appears to read dictrine; its second letter is faint and may be an imperfectly printed o. The intended word is doctrine. The historical wording and its uncertainty are retained here, rather than silently replacing the apparent type. TCP instead transcribes the first word as doctrine.
312. These directions concern the separate Man-Mouse, whose body is outside this publication’s reading text. Their presence in the shared correction notice is preserved. The first direction distinguishes long s from f: the printed ſires is corrected to fires. Normalising long s gives sires, preserving the distinction which TCP’s fires on both sides obscures.
