English
Thus there is one way, one means of the particular tincture: antimony, sulphur, [two joined-circle sign], Mercury, [circular sign], fire, air; of red or white wine, urine, and likewise all other animals, vegetables, and minerals. There is only one matter, namely a fixed, crystalline, transparent body. Therefore at the Last Day all families of the earth, indeed all creatures, will appear in this form—those which now daily desire to be dissolved—and will have to lament, convict, and bear witness against us. When the heavenly spirit, present in all things, is separated out as the lower and released from the bonds in which it lies, the lower is purified like the upper, as described. A true receptacle is then present to catch the ethereal spirit: the heavenly and aerial spirit in which we and all things live and move, God’s breath, which is all in all; the soul of the world, the true “Qv Es,” Bernard’s growing power, the influence of things, as in a water of its own genus and species. Just as the field is present in the universal work, so here in particular works the seed is treated in the philosophical manner.
