Ihme dem Dreyeinigen Gott aber / sey wiedermalen Lob / Ehr und Preyß und Danck gesagt / von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeit. Amen!
Candida Phoenix Philosophica: Part II — Conclusion
244–245Above all, I warn anyone pursuing this art who does not intend to use it chiefly for God’s honour, the defence of the Christian faith, and the relief of poor and suffering Christians, but rather to satisfy avarice or indulge pride and licence, to desist. Such a person will attain no happy end; or, if success does occur by the Most High’s permission, the curse and punishment of the righteous God will fall upon him, according to Hollandus’s prophecy. To the triune God be praise, honour, glory, and thanks once again, from eternity to eternity. Amen!
