Part II — Chapter 7: Other Waters and Philosophical Earth
German & Latin
162–163Worbey ich dann zu vermelden nicht umbgehen kan / was massen ... B. seinen Spiritum Mundi, Aurum Auræ und Balsamum Mundi, gantz unrecht für eine Hermetische Medicin venditiret. In Erwegung / es gehe gleich eine oder die andere auß dem Thau / oder dem / von Dr. Nietardten beschriebenen / und gleichfalls also genannten Spiritu Mundi; So ists dannoch keine Hermetische Medicin, wie besagter sein Spiritus Mundi, Aurum Auræ, und Balsamus Mundi (als welcher zumahl vielmehr ein Excrementum, weder eine Hermetische Medicin ist) so wohl auch sein Aurum Auræ intitulirtes Scriptum selbst bezeugen;
Candida Phoenix Philosophica: Part II — Chapter 7: Other Waters and Philosophical Earth
162–163I cannot avoid mentioning here that ... B. quite wrongly advertises his World-Spirit, Gold of the Breeze and Balsam of the World as a Hermetic medicine. Whether one or another of them comes from dew or from the substance described by Dr Nietardt and likewise called World-Spirit, it is still no Hermetic medicine. His World-Spirit, Gold of the Breeze and Balsam of the World—the last much more a residue than a Hermetic medicine—testify to this themselves, as does his writing entitled Gold of the Breeze.
